For more than 30 years, Rolly Lokre, chairman and founding principal of Lokre has been actively involved in commercial real estate. His corporation is known for its interrelated fields of planning, design, architecture, construction, marketing, management and finance. Since its inception, Rolly has been primarily responsible for establishing Lokre’s policies and strategies, ascertaining asset class allocations and overseeing its long-term building and investment decisions. Rolly’s many years of hands-on management has provided a knowledge base that has been indispensable to Lokre's transactions that are in excess of one billion dollars. 

Rolly was born and raised in Wausau, Wisconsin and studied economics at the University of Wisconsin. Following school, he began his business career in 1978 by establishing Weston Wholesale, Dun-rite Exteriors and Preferred Properties; three highly successful corporations, with facets in the wholesale building supply industry, home renovation, residential and commercial construction, as well as property management. He was also a founding member of a successful regional Midwestern bank. 

In 1999, Rolly established Lokre. He led his regional construction firms from their start to the formation of this parent company, which has achieved an impeccable reputation within the national commercial real estate industry. Lokre has built hotels, restaurants, thousands of single and multi-family residential units, two million square feet of office space, three million square feet of warehouse space, and more than five million square feet of retail.

The tenant roster includes: Hilton Hotels, AT&T, Starbucks Dick’s Sporting Goods, T.J. Lokre has expanded from its construction trade focus to expert capabilities handling acquisitions, dispositions, development, renovation, financing, leasing, land assemblages, debt restructuring and note purchases. Lokre has garnered numerous awards, including Wisconsin’s first privately owned commercial multi-tenant building to receive a Silver-rated LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Certification as well as recognition for Historic Preservation of residential and commercial buildings.
